Institutional Direction
Where Sultan Hanafi Royal Schools stands today, and where the Board of Governors and Management Team are taking it next. Every commitment set down here has been adopted by the Board of Governors, and is published in the terms in which it was resolved.
Where We Stand Today
Founded in July 2016, Sultan Hanafi Royal Schools today comprises five institutions — Sultan Hanafi Nursery and Primary School, Royal College, Islamiyyah School, Qur'an College, and the newly constituted Online & Distance Learning School — governed by one Board of Governors and one Head of Schools / Administrator. See Governance & Leadership for the full structure.
A shared Parent Portal, Student Portal, Staff Identity system, and Founder Dashboard already serve real families and staff today — not a future promise. See the full Digital Campus chapter.
A full suite of institutional policies — academic, safeguarding, financial, and data-protection — has been drafted and is progressing through Board review and adoption. See the Policies Centre for the current status of each.
The Adopted Programme
The Board of Governors has adopted a single institutional programme running to 2030: that by that year no part of this institution’s work — academic, administrative, financial, pastoral or scholarly — is carried on paper alone, and that every record it keeps is one a family, an employer or an examinations board can reach in seconds and trust without telephoning the office. Phase I is in service. The four phases, and the five standards the institution will not trade away for convenience, are set out in full on the Digital Campus.
Before the Board
The matters below stand before the Board of Governors in active deliberation. Each is entered on this page on the day it is resolved, carrying the dates and the figures in which it was resolved — this institution does not publish an ambition it has not first adopted.
A formal multi-year plan spanning academic expansion, campus development and the digital estate. It is in preparation for the Board of Governors and is published here upon adoption, with its dates and its figures entire.
This institution is open to partnership with schools, universities and scholarly bodies beyond Nigeria. Each agreement is named on this page upon signature, together with what it obliges the school to do.
A long-term ambition for the institution, not yet begun.
