Guidelines for Third Term Examination Questions
Internal Memorandum · Ref: SHRC/AC/001 · From the Principal to All Educators · 15 May 2026
- Multiple Choice Section: 60 MCQs (40, plus a Section C for practical, for skill/practical-based subjects — Trade, CCA, Home Economics, etc.).
- Theory Section: minimum of 4 questions, answer 3.
- MCQ options: (A)–(D) begin on a new line, properly aligned.
- Font: Times New Roman, size 12.
- Coverage: First, Second, and Third Term topics at an approximate 10:10:40 ratio.
- Standardisation: SSS questions at WAEC/UTME standard as appropriate across classes.
- Heading: the school's official, registered, and accredited name and logo — Sultan Hanafi Secular College (Sultan Hanafi Royal Schools) — plus Session 2025/2026, Third Term Examination.
- Avoid polar questions (Yes/No, True/False).
- File naming: a folder named for you, containing each subject as
Subject_Class_TermPaper(e.g.Maths_JSS1_TTEXAM). - Submission: to your HoD, by the date on the Notable Dates schedule below.

Deadline days end at closing time — submission after that is late. Late submission by a day or less attracts a fine of ₦1,000; later than a day attracts multiple fines and sanctions, which may include a delay in salary payment. Documents submitted before deadline but with poor accuracy are treated as not submitted. Being 5 minutes late to class attracts a fine of ₦500.

Responsibilities of Teacher of Duty
- Prepares the attached student(s) on the week's topic and discusses it.
- Resumes school by 7:15 am.
- Welcomes both parents and students with a smile.
- Joins to conduct assembly: 7:30 – 8:00 am.
- Is the supervisor of the week: supervises students' activities and movement.
- Gives a weekly report on school activities and observations.
- Ensures students transit smoothly to the next section (Islaamiyyah).
- Monitors all school properties and ensures everything is in place.
- Closing time for teacher on duty is 3:30 pm, except Fridays and exam week.
